These lanterns were on display at Bongeun-sa Temple for Buddha's 2,550th birthday celebration. This one is a girl holding a lotus.

A traveller.

A drummer.

A view of the face of the lion.

A boy holding a calligraphy brush.

A girl holding a tiger.

I'm not sure what this one is, might be a Buddha, it's hard to tell. The ears are slightly elongated, but that might just be the style of the lantern.

Young Buddha riding on a white elephant.

A smoking tiger with a rabbit next to him.

A lion like thing. I think it was supposed to be a stuffed animal on the floor in this little lantern scene with childen and a dog.

A turtle lantern.

Here is the scene of the children on the floor with a dog.

Another angle of the same scene.

A close up of the dog lantern.

One last angle of the children looking at the dog.

A buddha with an urn or vase.

A lantern of a little girl holding her baby brother waiting for her mother.

A tiger and leopard.

This one was impressive. A rearing tiger standing almost straight up clawing at the ceiling.

A large crouching tiger with cubs. This one was also very well made.
